Beautiful property, beautiful Thai style units, nice balcony, great view, we had pool, garden view, was fantastic. Breakfast included, great variety, fresh, fancy coffee available. Staff very friendly. The resort is a bit older looking, but kept well and nice.

The property condition is average and the grounds are not kept in good condition. We used the gym and found the machine weights in a dangerous condition. I had to tighten alot of the bolts by hand. The swimming pool area was not clean around the deck chairs. There was nothing near by walking distance. The main area white sand beach has only a few transfers and last pick up was too early (7pm), I would recommend a late pick off around 9pm. Could be a nice hotel if the grounds and facilities and local transport links were improved !

Very well presented hotel, rooms are good size, the grounds are very well maintained. Good swimming pool...and scenic walks. The location lets it down, its isolated and a long way from the to white sands beach area. We were here 2 nights, had I booked longer I think in all probability I would have checked out early.

Complex is situated in a nice seaside location but unfortunately in a quite remote area which leaves you with limited options for dining and activities. One should consider shuttle expense to commute between city and or scooter rent (which is available at the hotel). We were lucky and got loud neighbors twice. First time managed to upgrade to seaside villa with extra payment (staff let us choose between 3 options, what was nice). NB! This stay at huge villa definitely raised the rating at least 2 stars (because first room was not nice at all). Second time luckily someone told the party gang to move further to the beach. As hotel is in the north the climate is more cooler than in the south. Warmer clothing in the morning and evening time was handy. Main problem for us was that compared to other hotels and places in Thailand the hotel staff was not very friendly and seemed kind of tense all the time. That left us as clients the feeling of not being very welcome at the place. Overall, considering the 30-50% higher prices in Aiyapura Resort, compared to the Koh Chang accommodation prices and experience we got - it was not value for the money we paid.

Un hôtel qui ne mérite sûrement pas ses 4 étoiles ! Manque total d’entretien des équipements et espaces communs : gravats, ancien matériel cassé et abandonné, carrelage cassé (lobby, restaurant), sièges rafistolés et sales au restaurant … L’état général de l’hôtel est épouvantable. Tout cela est bien dommage car l’endroit est calme et les bungalows sont plutôt agréables

This property has a lot of potential. Unfortunately a lot of the gardens are over grown and the facilities not well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the view of the beach is amazing. Our shower did not work on arrival but was quickly fixed by maintenance.

Beliggenheden var god,et stille område,flot natur.. Men langt fra shoppe muligheder,så man er afhængig af bil eller scooter/motorcykel. Stranden så pæn ud,men meget lav vandet,og en ubehagelig svampetbund. Det værelse vi fik,var i dårlig stand,trængte virkelig til renovering. Håndtaget til toilet virkede ikke ordenligt, så vandet løb tit når man havde trukket,proppen til håndvasken,var der hul i,så man ikke kunne fylde håndvasken. Adgangsvej til barakken, var dårlig,decideret farlig når det havde regnet.. Rengøringen var dårlig, en dag hvor der ikke var lagt betræk på hovedpude,lå bare på stolen,ikke vasket service af bare ladet det stå,ikke rengjort badekar eller håndvask,eller fejet ordentligt. Men en god morgenmad buffet. Tag det for det flotte beliggenhed, og roen. Og hvis du kan nøjes med poolen. Og hbis du lejer bil eller scooter, ligger det godt i forhold til at kørerundt på øen. Da det ligger midt på den vej der kører på hver side af øen.

Fantastisk sted på kho chang. Men det nangler litt på maten og på renholdet det er veldig mye påfuler der og de legger jo litt igjen etter seg. Ikke noe gøy å måtte passe på hele tiden hvor man setter føttene. Og det ligger litt øde i forhold til service tilbudene rundt. Men husk å lei en scooter så kommer man seg litt rundt å få sett litt. Det er billig å leie på hotelet

Was soll ich sagen? Fangen wir beim Frühstück an, da war Personal und es hab 4 verschiedene Kleidungen und die meisten waren bekleckert, durchgeschwitzt, nicht schön. So wurde natürlich auch darauf geachtet, ob es sauber ist , egal wo, natürlich nicht! Die Tische draußen wurden nicht eingedeckt, warum auch immer, obwohl fast alle draußen essen wollten. Es gab 2 kaffeevollautomaten, wie ich sie zu Hause habe für 2 Personen, d.h., es musste ständig Wasser aufgekippt werden, Bohnen nachgelegt werden oder der Behälter geleert werden. Bei einer Anlage dieser Größe kann man sich ja in etwa vorstellen was da los ist... Den halben Bungalow den wir bekamen mit Aufpreis ( nachdem ich in dem 1. Zimmer es keine 2 min ausgehalten habe ), war alt, wie alles in der Anlage. Alt ist ja nicht schlimm, aber pflegen und putzen und renovieren kann man aber und das wird dort nirgendwo gemacht. Ich hatte dem Zimmermädchen jeden Tag einen Zettel hingelegt ( 1 Woche lang), sie möge den Badewannen Stöpsel reparieren lassen, damit ich ihn auf bekomme : keine Chance ! Eine Woche lang lag vor der Toilette ein Riesenfussel, naja, wir können uns wohl vorstellen das der nächstes Jahr da noch liegt und ich mich frage ob die Toilette überhaupt jemals geputzt wird. Die Aussendusche hab ich nicht genutzt , sowas ekliges hab ich lange in einem 4 Sterne Hotel nicht gesehen. A little tired hotel.. it is quit and realaxing, but pretty old. Everything is old and looks so... starting from old stile small TV in the room and finishing with the pool, chairs.. everything. Also you have to walk up and down the hill, pretty expensive restaurant on the beach with okey food, not like it’s goid, it’s okey.. and there are nicer beaches and nicer properties on Koh Chang.. also it is more then 2km away from the main road.. pretty far from everything... it is okey.. but can’t give it more then 3 points... there are more convenient located and better options in my opinion.. it’s Ok though.. the views are beautiful.
