Great place to relax and enjoy a quiet evening. Bungalows are well maintained and clean with most having an ocean view. As the name implies it is in a cliff so no beach close but what a beautiful view.

Otrolig utsikt

Vi fick ett av rummen (s6) med utsikt mot havet. Fantastisk vy. Rummen var rena och fina. Personalen var otroligt trevlig och hjälpsam. Vi fick skjuts till stranden varje dag. Frukosten var ok, men kunde varit lite mer varierad. Vi kommer tillbaka hit.

S.S.P. Was the property they put me in.

So after I arrived they put me in a completely different hotel than the pictures. It was maybe a 2 star room. They had no availability at the beach front rooms of the actual hotel. I checked in and immediately left

Ko Chang nenadchl ani nezklamal...

Bez přístupu k moři. Pláž 3 km daleko Dnes po 5-té návštěvě Thajska mohu konstatovat, že je jedno kam pojedete, všude je to stejné a bohužel poprvé jsem přesvědčen, že je dražší jak u nás.

Ett trevligt hotell med frukost. Frukosten är helt ok pga av priset man betalar per natt. Hotellet är beläget en bit bort från stranden. Finns möjlighet att hyra motorcykel för en liten summa. Personalen är service minded och trevliga.

Great stay

Good area, in the middle of many places, not so close to the south beaches like the "lonly beach" because of the roads. Great service, very nice people that want to help and answer questions about the area. The "No Windows Room" are fine, was worry about them, but everything was fine. The bed are little bit weak and making noises when you seat or "roll" on them.

We was put into the rooms next door as they said that the resort we booked was fully booked. They gave us our breakfast vouchers the day we left. I would like to say organised chaos. But there was no organisation. Better off oaying a little bit more and getting better service.

Der var svamp i loftet plus en beskidt aircon. Der gjorde at jeg forlod stedet før tid. Blev vækket af påfugle kl6 om morgenen. Morgenmaden skulle være mellem 7.00 og 10.00.jeg mødte op kl 7.30 var der end ikke dækket op. Derefter lå jeg syg pga overnævnte

Nice and quiet place on the cliffs

The Cliff resort is a nice quiet place on the cliffs, with little bungalows. The rooms are fine, and the service too. Breakfast is fine too. A restaurant however is not present in the hotel. You must go to the main street to get food. They say white sand beach is a 5 minute walk, but this is not the case. Count on a 20 minute walk to get to the beach. This is not too bad though, in my opinion.

Gezien de prijs is hotel kamer of beter gezegd de bungalow goed te noemen . Langs de zee ( rotsen )kan men lopen maar niet in zee gaan .Een opmerking het heeft geen zin om extra te betalen voor zee zicht vermits er maar enkele huisjes echt zee zicht hebben de meerdere kan je de zee zien tussen de bananebomen -struiken en daar heb je niks aan . Ontbijt simpel maar ok , proper - ja dat wel . Vriendelijkheid ok . Zwembad prima . Het was toch een aardig verblijf zou het nog doen .

Gerne wieder..

Es war ein schönes grosses Zimmer in dem alles vorhanden war das man braucht. Jeden tag 2 flaschen Wasser und 2 Portionen um kaffee zu machen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick. Die Aussicht war einfach traumhaft. Die Angestellten waren alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war ausreichend. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

NOT AS advertised

This “resort” was advertised has having 2 restaurants, a bar, room service, etc... all things that a resort much less a standard hotel would have. In reality none of the phones worked, the bar looked abandoned for years, and they don’t serve food after breakfast in the “restaurant” with a view. They have peacocks roaming the grounds and they scream all night long so don’t expect good sleep. They also poop everywhere so there are more flying insects at this place than any other place I’ve ever stayed. The food was Horrible and even the coffee was all instant and terrible. The manager carries a bug zapping tennis racket at all times because the mosquitoes are aggressive and never ending. Every time your phone or computer goes to sleep you have to re-log into the internet which is very annoying and there is trash in the bushes that employees failed to pick up for the duration of our stay. We checked out a day early after being sick for the first 48 hours and they were kind enough to give us a refund although the male manager was very pissed at our request to receive the refund. You will find bugs in your room at some point and insect repellent is a must. It’s quite a hike down to the street and then down to white sands beach which was the poorest beach we’ve seen in Thailand, open sewage appeared to be running out from many pipes. But hey cliff Chang has a great view!!!

I stayed on Koh Chang for 6 days, 3 days were at Chang Cliff. What you have to understand is on Koh Chang you are paying for a view, not a room. The rooms could be better. Compared to the other resort which I found very bad for the price I paid for it Chang Cliff was very good value for the money. I stayed in two different rooms both with fantastic views. The pool maybe a little small but what a view. The resort is close to the main rood and an easy walk to the action. The beach is not that far and they had a shuttle. There were not many people when I was there but breakfast was custom made. Western for me and Thai for my travel companion. It was good. They have a wide variety of rooms here. From hostel to what could be considered 4 star. Staff were very nice and I would not have a problem staying here again.
