Beautiful part of the country

Staff were fantastic as usual. Breakfast was hearty and great quality. Room was very nice and cozy - the bed is particularly comfy. Spa was great, clean, and good service. Pub food was lovely.

Staff very friendly on arrival and leaving. Breakfast good. Nice relaxing lounges. Room really warm could do with turning the heating down. Log fire lovely downstairs

Our stay at Fair Rigg was wonderful! We had a lovely relaxing trip, walkable distance to the town but also very reasonable taxi fare into the centre in the evening. Very comfortable stay - lovely modern room and for a fantastic price, thanks again for making us feel so welcome!

Beautiful part of the country
Not much in kirkby steven , good indian , but everywhere else to eat was fully booked
Excellent Chinese restaurant, and small cafes, fish and chip shop passable
Went for a function so didn't get much time for sight seeing but would love to return for a good look around. Lovely area
Enjoyed our dinner at the King's Head about 2 miles from Tranna Hill.
Lots of walking. Really nice quiet village.
