The owners are lovely and friendly and really helpful when we had to make a change to our booking, just before arriving. Breakfast is lovely and guests likewise, making breakfast a lovely experience. "Lovely hotel on the sea front. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Shops, restaurants, steam railway all within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. "Well located hotel within five minutes walk of the ferry port. An old fashioned style B and B with seemingly new owners (Opul Group). Rooms are large but maybe a little in need of a refresh. Everything clean. Breakfast included which was surprisingly excellent. Buffet style but even catered for us as vegans which was amazingly welcome. Well located for the town centre, next door to wetherspoons which can be loud on a weekend, but no huge problem."

"I booked an upgraded room with a sea view. it was spacious and clean and on the first floor. the only problem I had with the room was that the plug in the wash hand basin leaked badly. not only is this inconvenient for guests but is very bad for the environment, not to mention. the financial impact on the hotel owners. the piano bar was very good. the pianist was excellent the breakfasts were very good, the quality of the food was very good and the staff wherever helpful."
