Dear Andre, The cleaning fee is not an hidden fee. It is clearly stated online under policies, important information and fee. You arrived at the property after check-in time (11:00pm) and was told to leave the cleaning fee on the table and we would collect the following morning (with your approval). So, you were well aware that someone would come to pick up the cleaning fee. Thank you again for staying with us. Have a great day.

Dear Guest, We are sorry that you were inconvenienced re waiting time. We tried to contact you several times before your arrival, however, the number rang without an answer. The apartment you originally booked had a minor plumbing issue thus we tried to contact you to inform you that we would be switching you to another apartment just as lovely. You booked a fully equipped apartment with living area kitchen, patio not a hotel, therefore , there is no front desk hence our trying to reach you to ascertain your expected time of arrival. It was great having you and we look forward to your next visit to Kingston.

We give every guest an orientation three days prior to arrival as we operate without a front desk. When I personally gave Ms Richards an orientation, she lambasted me because she did not want to pay the balance due upon arrival. She asked me to waive the fees and it was not possible, she asked for a full refund to go to the Pegasus and it was not possible. She went into a tirade and hang up on me. Twenty minutes later Hotels.com called us with her on hold, she wanted another breakdown of the balance. I asked Hotels.com to join the calls so I can explain the balance to the same guest for the second time in 20 minutes. Ms Richard called hotels.com two more times prior to her arrival. She was trying to get a refund. Ms Richards arrived at the property at 3am. Ms Richards bullied the manager out of the fees by stating that she needs an explanation regarding the fees and she will not pay until she gets an explanation and she doesn't want the explanation from me Kevin. Ms Richards conjured up a problem with the AC within hours of checking in. We now know because we have not serviced it and it has worked for 5 other guests so far. As you can tell by the conversation, I gave the guest unit 10am Monday to pay the fees (and reported the situation to hotel.com) or I will check her out for breach of agreement. I gave her 24 hours +/- to fix the issue. This guest "chose" to check herself out immediately Sunday evening. The guest left the keys unsecured. We suspected she would try to do a credit card charge back, but we never could imagine she would go as low as claiming someone else used her credit card. Lucky for us, we saved the conversations we had with her and we copied her license at check in and so lost the credit card dispute. This is her other way of punishing us. There is one clear pattern here.
