The Ultimate Eastern United States Ski Experience! Majestic mountain views and steps from the slopes! That’s only some of the finer points of the luxurious and rustic Mountain Inn at Killington. Situated at 47 Old Mill Road in Killington, VT, this inn is a 1 minute car ride or short walk to the “Beast of the East” known as Killington. The walk is perhaps 5 minutes from door-to-chairlift at Ramshead Mountain—one of six peaks that compromise Killington ski resort, which looms in the distance from the grounds of the inn. The inn is cozy, quiet, clean, modern yet rustic, and dog-friendly. There’s lots to enjoy from the on-site whiskey distillery and restaurant (Still on the Mountain), the bar, and the breakfast nook which serves a generous array of morning pick-me-ups including scones, sweet rolls, fruit, cold cereal in individually packaged bowl containers, Chobani Greek yogurt, water, juice, coffee and tea. I took my dog with me on a ski trip and we stayed two nights in April. On property you will also find a gift shop, live music on Friday and Saturday nights, an outdoor heated pool (no dogs allowed) plus a small gym and game room with a pool table and corn hole set-up for indoor fun. There is no air conditioning, and my room got hot at times so to cool it off you may opt to shut off the heat and open a window. I did, and the mountain air cooled things off nicely. My room was beautifully designed with a walk-in shower with sliding glass door, two queen beds, wooden headboards!

Staff was very accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Main areas need a good carpet cleaning. We were there during a snow storm and parking lots were not cleared making them slippery. Outdoors areas were also not shoveled. Free breakfast was full of choices. Would stay here again.

We stayed at the Inn for a day of spring skiing. The hotel was clean and had nice amenities for a family (outdoor pool, game room). The dining convience was great with continental breakfast and the Still for dinner. The shuttle ride to the mountain was included and only a few minutes ride. Views of Killington at breakfast got the blood flowing for a great day of skiing!

The location is great and the hotel provides a shuttle to the lifts, which are less than a 5 minute shuttle ride away. After we checked out on our last day, we then skied all day and returned to the hotel. The manager provided us with access a special room where we could take a shower and get changed before traveling. This was above and beyond our expectations, and made for a much more comfortable trip after skiing!

Love how close it is to base. Quick shuttle ride. Check in was super easy with Kimberly who gave us a tour of the property. We had 2nd floor end room. Rooms are small but very clean and plenty of storage areas. Slider door to the bathroom was tricky. Didn’t stay closed. Outside heated pool was so relaxing after skiing all day. Awesome breakfast. More selection than just “continental” All staff friendly. We loved the distillery on the property. Was there almost every night. Food was awesome! As well as their specialty drinks.

Nice place. A little dated but great place for families although rooms are tight for a family of 4. Breakfast is great and the shuttle service is easy (it is walkable for boarders - a little far to walk in ski boots). The inhouse restaurant is also quite decent. Overall a nice stay and my kids had a blast. Definitely an option we would consider again except we would definitely book 2 rooms for our family of 4.

A great mountain-side spot just a 3-minute drive from the chair lift and SnowShed. Breakfasts were free and great. Dining at the distillery was fun (check schedule for live music) and the heated pool was sublime. Regular shuttle bus to the slopes right beside your own personal ski locker made getting to the slopes a cinch. Really recommend this place for snow-loving families and those traveling with dogs. It’s a great spot.

We travel to Killington often and now that we know about The Mountain Inn, it will be our accommodation of choice. First and foremost, all staff members were friendly and warm which made the experience especially pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean and we appreciate the sustainable soap and shampoo setup. Continental breakast buffet had a wide range of delicious and filling options to prepare for a day on the slopes. We loved the restaurant because great food was available without having to venture out, try the veggie lasagna (so good my husband had it twice). The cream cheese-stuffed churros with ice cream were pretty awesome as well! Can’t forget to mention the heated outdoor pool, such a fun experience to swim under snowfall and we even made some new ski friends hanging out there. Last, but not least, special props to JP for amazing hospitality and flexibility!

My stay at the Mountain Inn 2024
This was my first time staying at the Mountain Inn. It is great having the hotel so close to the Mountain. The staff were excellent and the overall feel of the place was very clean and cozy. It was nice hanging out in the dining room during breakfast before heading out to the mountain. I would definitely stay there again.

To keep it short and brief, WE WILL COME BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN. The staff were so accomodating and went over and beyond to make our stay as memorable as possible.
