"This was an absolutely fantastic hotel. I loved the aesthetic and all of the amenities provided. It was very nice of the staff to provide me with tattoo patches when I hadn't been able to find them so that I could enjoy their onsen. The rooms were in perfect condition and the staff was very accommodating of me trying to communicate in Japanese, switching to very good English when there were words I didn't know or things I didn't know how to say. It's also just a short 20 minute walk from Nara...
"Far walk for us and dinner is exotic and different. But absolutely beautiful place. Clean and amazing private onsen. We loved the gift shop and they gave us robes to use. Breakfast buffet excellent. Overall wonderful visit, would recommend and wish i can go again someday. "
"The location of this ryokan at the edge of Nara Park is super, make it walkable right outside the gate. The small ryokan showed its past glory with a bar/restaurant and natural hotspring onsen. The service staffs were very attentive and professional. The breakfast and dinner were both impressive. We were very happy with our stay."
"Great spot for staying a night or two directly in the Nara Park. This allowed us to get up early and have basically the whole park to ourselves before the tourist groups arrive. Would definititely recommend it!
