"A great boutique hotel for a quiet getaway. Friendly staff and very nice breakfast too. Rooms are a good sized, although a little dark even with the lights on. The TV in our room was quite small for the size of the room but we didn't watch much on the TV anyway so didn't bother us."

"We spent 2 nights at the Volunteer Inn in September in a room with shared bathroom. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the staff were all great. The breakfast was good and the pub downstairs is a good spot for a drink. Our room faces the road but was very quiet and did not get any noise from the pub. Given the cost of staying in Chipping Campden, we felt the rate was very reasonable."

"Busy village pub, very old so lots of low beams (banged my head going up the stairs; no signage, so that could be improved), friendly service, good beer, very good food, generous portions and excellent value for money. "Was not sure what to expect, but once we arrived was blown away. the service from the minute we arrived to when we checked out was amazing. The quality of the food was something you expect to find in top restaurants. Pub style garden with lots of comfy seating and class. Location was perfect, we will 100% be going back. "
