"We loved Dar Imlil! It is set in a beautiful location, nestled in the mountains with an incredible view. The room was very cozy, and surprisingly big! The staff were incredibly friendly - from the moment we walked in, Hussein and the rest of the team were able to meet all of our needs (a guide for a hike, negotiating reasonable transport onwards etc). I would suggest if you need to communicate with them before arrival, through whatsap worked best - they werent responsive to the expedia chat. We...

"The best property I stayed in. The owner is a little odd and will interrupt you to strike up conversation, but he’s just being friendly. The property is excellent value, and is up a steep hill which I like (no fat guests). The food was pretty good and the breakfasts very filling. Rooms were relatively comprehensive and very clean, water very hot. To notch little mountain retreat. 8.5/10."

"The property is beautiful and the rooms were very nice. The included breakfast was great. The dinner, not included, was expensive and while one night was delicious, the other wasn't good. The road to get in from Imlil is tricky: very narrow, can fit one small car only. It was blocked one day while we were there, which could have been a big problem if we needed to drive that day. The service at the hotel was OK. We were two women and we did not feel that the staff were very happy to help us. Even though the hotel was nice, I probably wouldn't stay again because of the difficult road to get in. "
