"Went down for breakfast around 10am, and a lot of items were running out, the hot drinks machine were broken, so could only have hot water from a flask which also ran out. The flask said "coffee", so it wasn't clear that was just hot water."

"Stayed here with my toddler, and while this is a solid 3-star property—no real surprises—I wanted to share a few notes specifically for parents traveling with young children. The room was very clean, and nothing major stood out as a safety concern for a curious toddler. I felt comfortable letting my daughter roam around the room and the hotel itself. "Approximately 10 minutes drive to centre of Bristol and with good parking (£3.50 for 24 hours if staying). Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms are very clean and rooms are very large but the hotel could do with some tlc and looking very tired. Ideal however for a short stay"

È molto vicino alla stazione Temple Meads, il che lo rende ideale per il tragitto in bus da e per l'aeroporto e per visitare in treno altri gioielli della zona (Bath, Salisbury etc). Il centro si può raggiungere a piedi senza fatica. Il personale è gentilissimo e sorridente. La colazione è migliorabile come qualità e varietà. L'insonorizzazione delle camere non è ottimale. Il bagno è una specie di cabina di plastica....

"A very pleasant stay at “The Carps”. Very pleasant, helpful, friendly staff. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed and roomy shower room. The room layout reflects the history of the property with a couple of shallow steps between the bedroom and shower. We stayed for dinner and were rewarded by a tasty meal. A good selection of vegetarian options. Our usual habit of swapping plates half though very much went by the board. Breakfast was very good with both millennial and traditional...
