"I don't know if my expectations were too high but I had always wanted to stay at this resort. I've been to Key West numerous times and have always wanted to stay here. My husband and i stayed for 4 nights late April and it really did not meet expectations. First off, we did not book the most basic room, we booked a King Balcony room and there were at least 5 other rooms less expensive. I put in the notes that we were celebrating our Babymoon and there was no mention or even congratulations or consideration which i thought was odd for a resort of this caliber. We also got a balcony room in the worst possibly building on the property, overlooking a parking lot and loud street. You would think for almost $3K for 4 nights you would get something a little nicer. Also, the room needed help. The bathroom was dirty and the draws in the sink vanity were visibly broken. The light in the fan would randomly turn on in the middle of the night and wake me and my husband up too. Also, I tried calling the front desk for more pillows and the phones don't work so i had to go there and ask (apparently they have been having ongoing issues). Also be prepared to have to wake up at the crack of sawn to get a chair near the shores pool (closest to the beach) as by 8am there books and towels reserving every single one. Unfortunately, we never got the opportunity to sit by the pool. It's a beautiful location with lots of amenities, i just expected more for the price."

"It’s a pretty hotel however they are trying to be an all inclusive resort and for you to eat and drink only there at their bar and pay too much for the food and drinks! You don’t have anywhere to sit and eat your own food you bring into the hotel except your room! Staff at the front were friendly however bar tenders and pool attendant's were not friendly at all! The shuttle people are nice but Mario is the best and very friendly! We enjoyed the pool very much however like I said unless you are an all inclusive resort you should allow your patrons to eat and drink what they buy outside of the hotel!"

"Pool is immaculate! Very nice beach access but it is rocky at the water on the harbor. Not ideal for swimming. Hammocks and onsite parrots and turtles are cool. No microwave in the rooms or at the clubhouse, restaurant is decent but overpriced compared to other seafood nearby. Excursions onsite are also overpriced. Shop around town instead. No housekeeping for 2 days; had to request then when she arrived she knocked, waited a few seconds, then entered as we were trying to get to the door. She just left new bath towels, 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel for 2 people and only picked up old towels. No other cleaning during our stay. We also had to wait a while for beach towels because they ran out. Recommend somewhere else for this price. Over $300 a night in KW there are much nicer options."

"Pool towels were only available sometimes. No barbecues on the property. The beach is not great and not conducive for swimming there. The pool and hot tub were great. The elevator in our building was broken which was annoying. The food by the pool stops service way too early."
