"Very nice stay, not too budget, not too expensive. I was in a higher grade room (kitchen and separate bedroom, so my comments relate to that). They went to the trouble of combining my split-booking so thanks for that. No double-insulation, so might be noisy on the lower floors. Air cond worked well. Acceptable location unless you're ancient (im a fit 68, so i mean really ancient) as it's mostly up hill from here. Thanks. PS The laundry bags were a bit of an obstacle course, but my Chinese is good enough to find out you've given her 4 floors to clean... wow... no wonder she has no time to move them. Time to give her a raise... or one less floor to do!!"

"We loved the customer service at the Shangri-La. Our room was understandably not ready when we arrived at 9am but they suggested we freshen up in the gym change room. It was lovely to take a shower and change into a fresh set of clothes after a long flight. Our room became available before noon. The bathroom was quite spacious and the lighting in the room was soft and not harsh. Everyone we spoke to was accomodating and pleasant. Good location close to Circular Quay, the Rocks, and public transportation."

"Reception staff was very polite and welcoming. We were upgraded to loft room, which was great! Very well appointed. This is a good hotel, good location, within a few minutes walk to metro. If you don’t need to be in the city or if you can a few minutes to commute, this hotel is very good. I’ll definitely be staying here again. "
