"Booked a one night stay as meeting up with a group of friends for a night out in Newark. My (standard) room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. The bar/dining area was very cosy with local beers (Pheasantry) on draught. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay and the breakfast was superb. Excellent value for money - highly recommended!"

We paid for carpark and were allowed to leave car the next for a visit of the city. A nice 20 minutes walk along the canal. Host very prompt and polite by text once we had booked. "Tolles, modernes und sauberes Hotel, mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants direkt vor der Tür. Ok, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflugsziele befinden sich nicht in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Man muss mobil sein, wenn man diese Unterkunft wählt. Aber das Hotel als solches ist hervorragend. Nettes Personal, tolles Frühstück. Gern wieder!"

"Everything about our stay was excellent. The accommodation was warm, spotlessly clean and the twin beds very comfortable. The room itself was the smallest in the house but we found it more than adequate and were very happy with the space. Our hosts were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome. The guesthouse is conveniently situated on the main bus route into the city so, as we did not have a car, there wasn't a problem getting out and...
