"We (family of four including two young kids) loved this hotel. The staff was very helpful from the minute we walked through the door. Not everyone spoke English but there are at least a few people on their staff who do; we did not have any issues. The entire hotel and our room was very clean. There is a 7-11 below the hotel which was extremely convenient. There are two subway stations within walking distance, and many restaurants and shops within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again."

"This was the absolute perfect place to stay for our short Japan trip. Having gone to Japan for school/work/leisure multiple times, I have to say this was one of my best experiences at a hotel. The location is perfect, right by the JR Yamanote-sen and multiple Shinkansen stops. The Ginza and Hibiya lines are even closer. Ameyoko is just across the street and it's walking distance from the Ueno Park and Okachimachi. It was so easy to get to everywhere we needed to go because of the location. More importantly, however, the staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. I mentioned in my initial message to the staff that I was most likely getting proposed to while there and asked if it was at all possible to get a nice room to celebrate the event. They went above and beyond and placed us on the 14th floor with a perfect view of the Skytree. I'll always remember that view fondly. Whether we needed tape or less towels or anything at all, the staff was ready to assist us. I am indebted to them for their generosity and their excellent service. For such an incredible price, you will be getting the best of the best at this hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone planning on staying Ueno/Tokyo."

"The room itself was very nice, great washroom with good amenities. TV was nice and could be casted to with my phone, plus had good information. The laundry service was good but could be full sometimes, or people would leave their clothes in the wash/dryer and staff would have to come clean it after a wait. The front desk staff were very nice and cleaning staff did a great job and were very attentive to our room."

"Great location. There are a lot of APA hotels in the area so anyone is fine. I chose one with an onsen which this one had and it was awesome. There was on onsen inside and one outside. The hotel has a south and Main building long we were in the South but the onsen is in the main but it just a corridor away (you do have to walk outside for 10 sec though. Overall a great location and a great stay. "

"Great location in SHINJUKU but I won’t recommend staying in this area with small kids as it’s the “red light district” of Tokyo. But if you are an adult it is perfect, very clean and super safe and close trains limousine buses to the airport, restaurants and convenience stores. "
