"I researched all of our options for a night stay near the airport. The Kauai Inn had the best reviews. We can see why. It is very clean, quaint and the staff are very accommodating and helpful. It’s been here since 1890 but is in great repair. There is a nice breakfast with sweet fruit, bagels, croissants or muffins, cereal and coffee. Lots of wildlife running around-peacocks, chickens, cats and roosters. The bridge to the airport was washed out but is repaired now so let your driver know. "

"This Resort is still under a major renovation. It will ultimately be a nice place but it is not there yet. "

"All was good at this hotel, however someone needs to inform the seating hostesses that when a customer comes in and would like to sit at a vacant table of their choice, they should be able to do so. NOT, where they decide to seat people."

"The oceanfront views are excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location is within walking distance of a few restaurants and shops. Comfy bed and nice balcony. Renovated bathroom with oversized tub but challenging entry/exit which could be resolved with handle assist. Great parking and awesome pool with waterfall. "
