"Royal Sonesta is always clean, modern and special. It’s an amazing hotel and worth the price for a mountain or ocean view. Beach access plus that pool?! Perfect. Kalapaki beach is a favorite beach for locals and surfers, but never too crowded. The mountain views are breathtaking. The higher the floor, the better the view! I am a local who has since moved to the mainland, but Kalapaki beach is always what feels like home to me, so I love staying here and feeling extra special being a hotel guest....

"The views were amazing. The room was lovely, although it could use updating and there was a weird stand in our tub. However, it was cleaned and the bed was quite comfortable. The pool was lovely and you could tell it was well maintained. My only complaint in that area would be the towel bar was not open the entire time. We did not get the opportunity to experience this spa. The food at rumfire was quite good, although a little overpriced. However, this is Hawaii and everything is. The service....

"Beautiful ocean view, some friendly staff and a good pool. One hot tub was out so everyone was huddle in the very small hot tub which was a bummer. They don’t mention when you book they are undergoing major property renovations which I understand is needed but a heads up would have been great. The noise was frustrating when we want to relax by the ocean but I understand again, a heads up would have been nice. Rust all over our room which I understand in Hawaii but if I’m paying that much I don’t...

"This is a beautiful property! It was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the area as well. Lots of fun shopping and dining options nearby. We booked here to be close to our early morning Nāpali coast hike and it was perfect for that, only a 30 minute drive to the trail head. My only complaint would be the extra daily charges for parking and resort fees which were an additional $35/night. Overall this was a beautiful resort and we’d love to return for a...

"Clean, well maintained property. Nice and quiet, great location. Vacation villa was stocked with everything we needed. The staff were wonderful. Everyone we dealt with from the front desk, concierge, housekeeping & maintenance were all friendly , professional & great at their jobs."
