Staff polite and helpful, rooms are clean and beds comfy. But bathroom really not nice. Tiny shower with no water pressure and takes at least 5 mins running before any warm water arrives. Great location in a lovely village. A good base for the price.

A fantastic setting, a brilliant hotel

A wonderful place. I have stayed on bike trips many times. Beautiful views of the amazing chateau. Great restaurant, very welcoming staff, terrific value.

Best hotel in Joselin

The hotel is on an amazing location, the rooms are fresh very clean high standard of furnishings and bed linen. All the staff I had contact with were helpful polite and friendly. Highly recommended this hotel I will definitely stay again.

Marvelous view

Had a room with a chateau view, comfortable bed. Breakfast is 12 euros which is a bit expensive for the choice you get. Good free parking.

good service late check in did not stop the reception from finding a bit of food from the kitchen for dinner. excellent location with a great view of the castle

Mediocre accommodation - condition of shower room poor. Conveniently situated location for Josselin centre. Dinner was good, breakfast mediocre. Service mostly friendly.

Such a shame

Despite super location and excellent car parking security, overall let down by a combination of small space bedroom with a small to, a broken toilet cistern, a minute toilet space where impossible to sit on toilet and close the door.

Fairy-tale setting

Our one night stay was a delight. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly to us. The car park is directly across the road with lots of space. The best thing about the hotel is its superb location, just across from the Chateau. Everywhere we wanted to go was walkable. There's a nice bar with a view and breakfast was delicious.

Great location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Room could do with a fan (but so could many in France!). Food in the restaurant was quite good, but service was lacking. A good option overall. Good value.

Wonderful castle views

A stunning location! Josselin is a very special place and this hotel has the perfect location to soak up the views. Make sure you pay the small premium to get a view. Cyclist friendly - safe covered storage in large garage below hotel. Great restaurant, excellent breakfast. Very good value. Have stayed many times on cycling tours and will do so again. Simply wonderful, though rooms slightly dated if want to be picky. Josselin is a must visit place on any tour of Brittany

Overrated hotel in need of modernisation

Initially allocated an incorrect bedroom differing from that booked The bathroom plumbing was atrocious- shower has a soil pipe running through it! The wc was a noisy macerating type. The lift was completely inefficient, slow and would not operate without the button being pressed throughout the carriage journey.

Room was small, with no view of dirty rear, bed was small and without any carpeting around. The room was noisy from other rooms and lift. The bathroom again small and from the 1950s, with poor plumbing, lighting and the towel rail fell off from the wall through poor fixing. Possibly the worst Hotel I have been into.

La douche etait peut être un peu difficile d’accès pour une personne âgée. Le monte charge un peu bruyant pour les chambres voisines. Sinon, l’hôtel est parfait et le personnel très agréable et serviable. Nous reviendrons certainement et recommanderons cet établissement.
