Bella Casa

Property had an unfortunate fire incident some time back. When they complete the renovation, the property will be a fantastic place to stay, amongst a few other things they can do Right now the room I had was perfect. I will stay there anytime again. Staff was very friendly as well. But plan all your meals outside. Which should not be an issue for a solo business traveller

Potential but unwelcoming

It can be a good guesthouse, if they can get the right management in. The manageress is very arrogant, rude and unhelpful, and should not work with people, let alone in hospitality, working with different nationalities and people from all walks of life. No coffee in the room, only two teabags, and if you ask for more you are told to fetch it yourself. Its a big guesthouse but empty, whilst all other guesthouses in the area are fully booked. You can decide why.. they also dont upgrade you, even though its an empty guesthouse. Rooms are quite nice, but with limited goodies inside. Very neglected garden area. It has potential though in the right hands. If you phone, it takes forever for them to answer. There is a young man that helps with luggage, and it seems in the garden, who is really great. I booked a room including breakfast. But was told to pay extra. They dont have a buffet and not worth the money, rather go and have breakfast outside. Furthermore it seems its a gueshouse of a specific church.

There was cockroaches throughout the room (no 8 ) and in the bed Also, the power was out from 5pm on and off and then from 11:00 pm until 7am the morning Loud guests and drinking Not a nice experience at all

The people at the hotel were lovely. The rooms are gorgeous however i was there for 3 days and although i told them my shower wasnt working when i got there or when i left.. Nobody bothered to fix it. The room wasnt cleaned properly and the 2nd day i didnt have any towels. Unfortunately the electricity was out from Friday until Monday although we did have some lighting but no hot water for 2 days. A beautiful venue which just needs better staff management.
