"This property is a gem. The location is ideal, right in the center of the Monastiraki area. It is very new and has all the conveniences one could look for. Tasteful modern furnitures. The kitchen is so beautiful and complete. The AC is super cool, big refrigerator, a stove. It even has a washer which we really appreciate. "Located in a great area of Plaka. Easy to walk to everything. Nice balcony facing Plaka street and great view of Acropolis in back. Only downside was the lack of hot water from the water heater. The water would get cool before two showers were complete."

"The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. I would stay here just for the wonderful staff. The location in Plaka makes it an easy walk to nearly everything you want to see in Athens. Even though it is on a very busy street, the room was very quiet. My only negative is the bathroom setup. There is no door to the bathroom so privacy is a challenge. There is a 2 sink setup which is great, a shower stall with a curtain and then a toilet room but the door to this area has shaded...

"Great location, but no air-con or electric fan in the guestrooms so very uncomfortable when the weather is warm. Most rooms also face other buildings & houses directly so there is no privacy at all unless you close the curtain all the times. We wer e on honeymoon and we told the hotel in advance & upon check in. Yet they assigned this kind of rooms to us as most of their rooms face their neighbours. It's terrible!"

"The location was wonderful. On a quiet side street in Plaka. Very convenient to everything. The staff was great. The breakfast was very good - fresh and varied with local specialties to sample. We even had a view of the Acropolis from our window. Decent size bathroom and good size shower. On the downside, the room was small with limited storage so we had to live mostly out of our suitcases. There is a wardrobe for hanging a few items but no drawers. You can overlook this deficit if you are not...

"Host communication were excellent, helpful, quick and dealt with any questions quickly and efficient and accommodating. Apartment is in a great location, with lots of restaurants and shops and the plaka walking distance. Apartment itself is spacious with a large sofa bed, my two daughters enjoyed the extra space. "Having rented VRBOs in Germany, Italy, England and Ireland, this was a well described and nice accommodation. The apartment is situated about 4 blocks from the Parthenon, and in the heart of the city with great shopping and restaurants. Remember that Greecians start late and finish late, so being in one of the most hoping areas the noise is a goes on till about midnight, that is just the price to pay for the great location. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again."

"We were very happy with our stay at Fos. It is located on a very cute corner with tavernas and a market street with lots of shops. After exploring a bit, we saw some less safe and more crowded areas (Monastiraki), making us thankful we chose this property in Plaka. It is also a quick walk to the Acropolis. We stayed in room 31. It was very roomy with a large living room, two bathrooms and a kitchenette. The bedroom has blackout shades, helping with sleeping in if you prefer to do so, and the bed...
