"The hotel is not inexpensive but it is worth the price. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location is convenient to restaurants and sight-seeing. The property is on the coast and the view is spectacular. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel."

"Staff excellent- friendly, polite, helpful. Fabulous location, right in the middle of Ortigia but hotel itself an oasis of calm. Family room very spacious and lovely. Breakfast buffet standard/good. Terrace bar nice to have but small with limited opening - still can’t believe they don’t know what a limoncello spritz is, when it’s so popular elsewhere - but tried hard to accommodate. In summary we were very very happy of our choice of hotel in Ortigia. "

"Fabulous B&B. Anna the host is friendly and welcoming and speaks excellent English. Perfect location just across the bridge to Ortiga. Lovely rooms, excellent breakfast. Mini fridge with free bottled water was provided in the room and communal area where you could help yourself to snacks, tea and coffee. "Good place to stay for visiting Syracuse. It is not a hotel but rather air bnb type of accommodation. It is within an old apartment, the interior has been renovated to appropriate condition. We get out early in the morning and back late, Thư’s we weren’t bother about the lack of hotel facilities. The man who look after the apartment was friendly and helpful. "We were not familiar and it took a minute to locate as the entrance is not facing the street. Once we found it, Giuliani checked us right in and set up a parking valet for us. She helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room. Beautiful building with great history. Rooms were quiet and clean. The Manager, Domenico was an absolute treat and made us feel right at home. I can’t wait to go back. Grazie Mille, Lanterne Magiche! You have earned guests for a lifetime. "

"This property has it all! Parking, although not free, was close by and safe. The rooftop terrace we enjoyed immensely and the room was very nice. The island is loaded with restaurants and shopping, everything is within a short walk and very safe. We also enjoyed a boat trip around the island.
