Nishiizu

"The views are amazing, but the property is quite dated and if you look around the vents and ac you can see lots of dust and mold"

"Beautiful surroundings, service was lovely. Peaceful and serene. Food was beautifully prepared. It would be nice to have a little more direction in how to actually take part in Japanese style bathing for those of us less familiar but there were other patrons around who helped acquaint me with things."

"We enjoyed staying in your hotel during our vacation. Your staffs are very kind and helpful. Dinner is fantastic! That makes me and my family love Shizuoka and looking forward to go back to have that great time again. Private onsen with stars at night is memorable. I love everything, Thanks a lot."

"What an incredible stay for us. First time to a ryokan (i.e., traditional Japanese inn w/ onsen). What an experience! Hotel is somewhat confusing to navigate, but that is part of the adventure. The public onsen was incredible (note: they swap the male and female sides, so pay ATTENTION!). The room we stayed in was "traditional" in that we had five futons atop tatami. Haven't selpt that well in a long time! The in-room onsen was a bit old school (basically a deep tub), but still oh so magical....

"Great staff, amenities, good food, nice view of Mt Fuji. Very high end hotel, worth the price and would visit again. "

"I had a great nights sleep here. I would visit again."

"Beautiful traditional property."

"Excellent view and unique experience for clamping. We asked in advance whether there’s toilet and bathroom inside the dome and the answer is “yes” . Turn out only shared outdoor bathroom and toilet is available . Maybe it’s because Staff don’t speak fluent English but it’s fine . I love the venue and the bbq and breakfast served by myself very much. Happy that it’s not yet occupied by overseas tourist and excited to explore this new place in Japan. "
