"Easy check in at the pub attached to the Lodge. Plenty of free parking. Room basic but comfortable. Kettle and instant coffee available in the room. Nice shower. Basic gel soap provided, no other toiletries. Room was very hot overnight but windows open unlike mist hotels these days. Excellent free Wifi connection. Room not the cleanest, some stains and marks but a good stay overall. "

"Internet was good and staff very pleasant. They made me porridge & asked how I'd like it made & gave me gluten free bread toasted as requested. I was in a room directly over the bar area so was a bit noisy but was all quiet by 11pm so was able to get a good sleep. Lovely room!"

"Typical town centre hotel. We had three rooms, the two outside of the hotel were comfortable and quiet, but the one at the front of the hotel was very noisy.
The car park was difficult to find, but once found was good."
