stay away!
Stayed in the hotel for two days(layover between flights). Personnel doesn't speak english(when they don't want to deal with you). Booked the hotel at Hotels.com and total amount was 110 usd. My card didn't go through so I picked pay at the hotel. when was checking out was charged 220 usd(not including food which was additional, don't even want to talk about it as quality was way bellow average ). I couldn't get reasonable explanation but I had to pay as I was with kids and late for the plane. They accepted cash only. I don't speak Turkish that was my problem. Also no infrastructure, nothing to do accept go to the beach. I would never come back to this Airport Kumsal Otel.

Charming and hospitable
My flight was canceled so i needed a place to stay for at least 1 or 2 nights. Having already stayed the La Quinta by Wyndham in Istanbul for 2 nights, i wanted different scenery and relative close vicinity to the airport. I decided to check this spot out. I took a cab to Karaburun and the drive there was absolutely charming. The countryside scenery was picturesque with small country roads, farm animals and pretty flowers. The restaurant part of the hotel was open air and it was a very, very hot day. The first room i was given had a beach front balcony view which was amazing but the on shore breeze kept rattling the front door, sleeping in that room would be a problem so they offered me a different room which turned out to be equally as good if not better. I kept the balcony door open but also used the ac which was fine. The hotel has a restaurant with about 2 dozen meals to choose from ranging from $10-$20 plates of traditional meals. There is a small local market next door for any snacks or additional beverages you may desire. The beaches were fairly clean with a few gentle and playful dogs roaming free. The area is basically a small and quiet beachfront property with as local feel to it. Charming and hospitable.

I liked the property being small family run, compact and very friendly. What you pay for what you get is great. When you pay about £50 a night for a room you dont expect much. I got a very clean room , with balcony facing the sea, compact shower/toilet room with wash basin, also including some shampoo bottles. Hair dryer, kettle and tea and coffee facilities in room. Very comftable memory foam mattress, good pillows and quilt. Furniture on balcony (plastic) 2 x chairs and a small table. Breakfast was extra, either toasted cheese toastie, or a traditional Turkish breakfast platter-tea or coffee or what ever else you wanted to drink. Dinner was also available from about 10 different meals. I sampled 2 meals both very nice. Yet again very inexpensive. They accept cash or credit/debit cards. Limited parking at hotel but plenty availabilty on the road opposite which was not a problem.

very friendly owner-family, very helpfull, usefull information, car park directly at the hotel, just at the beach, supermarket nearby, tasty breakfast, very flexible, definitelly worth a stay :-) we liked it

Fairly accommodating staff members, but a dirty place! I stayed overnight due to flight transfer. The room and bathroom weren't properly cleaned after prior guest. There was a crumpled receipt from a prior guest on one of the shelves and stuff in the toilet... And it smelled terrible. I understand this is a three star hotel, but given it advertises itself as such, it should at least have a clean feel to it and it didn't.

The hotel is very close to the water, which is great. It is clean and the staff are very friendly, they even helped us do our laundry. The area is a little far unless you have a car. And it does Botha e many dining options.

Irgendwo im Nirgendwo
Mit Airport Hotel hat das nichts zu tun, wir mussten kurzfristig wegen einem ausgefallenen Flug buchen und landeten irgendwo im Nirgendwo, man war nicht auf Gäste eingestellt, Zimmer wurde schnell gerichtet aber gemütlich und einladend ist anders. Das ganze hat überhaupt nichts mit einem Hotel zu tun, alles ist mehr als provisorisch. Das Personal und Besitzer sehr nett, mit Englisch geh es ein bisschen. Der Strand ist auch nicht einladend, also keine Empfehlung von mir. Hier lebt man von den Istanbulern die am Wochenende zum Picknick ans Meer kommen, aber nicht als Hotelier.

first of all, there are supper unprofessional! super care less about what you asking and what you need! the smell of the hotel was disgusting. and they think you're a fool because you're a tourist and try rubbing your money for selling food at a super high price which is the is no menu for food and price! whatever they want they will charge you! On arrival, the room wasn't ready and the room doesn't have hot water and I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hôtel sympathique, bien situé, mais très vétuste.
Bien sans plus. Hôtel à rénover entièrement. Trop de choses qui ne vont pas. Tv dans la chambre, pas toujours de l’eau chaude dans la salle de bain et pas de chauffage dans celle ci. Lit inconfortables. Pas de deuxième draps de lit correcte et pas de couverture. Chauffage très bruyant . . Bref il y a du boulot pour améliorer l’hotel, qui offre une belle situation de bord de mer et proximité commerces, restaurants, bus et aéroport. Ambiance très sympa le soir. Personnel de l’hotel très sympathique.

Otel çok soğuktu. Çalışanlarda otel gibi soğuktu. Kötü bir deneyimdi kahvaltı çok pahalıydı. Oda bir türlü ısınmıyor. Tuvalet banyosu berbat. Klima adam akıllı ısıtmıyor bile. En kötü deneyimdi.. bir daha asla tercih etmem.

Hotel frente al mar negro donde puedes ver muchos perritos. Es de los mas cercanos al Aeropuerto aunque la distancia es larga. Es una buena opción si tienes que estar a primera hora en Aeropuerto Internacional de Estambul. La zona es poco turística
