"We stayed in a Deluxe room with a phenomenal view of the loch. Room was quiet & well-kept with a comfortable bed. The hotel is a really great location, just 10 minute drive outside Portree. Staff was service-oriented & very friendly. We ate at the on-site restaurant every night b/c everything was delicious! Breakfast was also very good as well. The only negative was housekeeping... they did not do a very good job of tidying our room & we had run out of toilet paper that was not replaced... it...

"Great location right in Portree. Good food in the restaurant and there are many other restaurants within walking distance. Our room was right at the front of the hotel and there was some noise in the square but it did not bother us and I am a very light sleeper. Staff were really friendly and helpful. "All went well. My only critique is we had no idea how to get into the house upon arrival, or find the specific house. We were in a foreign country and this was our first house. Having an email sent saying "When you arrive the house looks like this and here is where to find it" would have helped. Also a note saying how to get into the house (We called the owner which took a long time to figure out how to do in a foreign country) and was told house was unlocked and key was inside. "I don’t often write reviews but feel compelled to here. After a long day of driving from Culloden, we hit the brunt of Storm Amy in the dark before we ever hit the Skye bridge. After what felt like a lifetime in 90+ mph winds we finally got to the hotel and felt like we were walking into a friends house. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They shuffled us over to the pub next door for a warm meal and a cold beer (the food is excellent), took our bags to our rooms for us, and checked in...
