"We have been loyal guests at Barceló Manzanillo for years, but sadly this was our last visit. It’s disappointing to see how much the service and maintenance have declined, especially for a resort that is not inexpensive. The biggest disappointment was the new rule prohibiting food at the beach and pool. Guests must eat in a tiny designated area with only a few tables. If they’re full, you’re expected to eat in nearby chairs, which completely takes away from the resort experience. The property...

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. The resort was beautiful. The room was nice and clean. The only complaint is that if you don’t get the all inclusive, you can’t use the minibar fridge that’s in your room. It’s locked & if you want to use it they will charge you, even if you don’t consume the beverages that are already in there. That was inconvenient."

"Si lo que buscas es un lugar tranquilo para desconectarte este es el indicado, al ser un hotel boutique y de adultos lo convierte en un lugar sereno. Los anfitriones nos hicieron sentir en casa, muy atentos en todo momento. Tienes todo lo necesario en la cocina para cocinar. Tal vez sería conveniente agregar una televisión, ya que al ser un lugar donde no hay mucho alrededor sería muy buena opción ver películas o series antes de dormir. Muchas gracias por todo o"

"I loved that the place had beach access. They had two pools and the had a parking garage that is closed off at night. The town and neighborhood felt very safe but it is was a nice touch to have that option for your vehicle. The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. I loved the decor of the place, it was just a great vibe overall."
