樓層完全黑暗，可怕
Check in 時洗手間地面是濕的，裝修陳舊，沖涼只有頭頂上花灑，太貼牆，水力亦不夠。9點前回酒店，出電梯時，樓層沒燈，電梯門関上後更完全黑暗，非常可怕，幸而和朋友一起有伴。第二天白天時，刻意留意，沒有找到燈制開関。不会再住。

Great location, accessible to good food and places of interest. Friendly staff. Small room with no refrigerator and wardrobe. Reasonable room condition vs price paid. Overall a pleasant experience.

Not comfortable room
The rooms are small. Toilet and shower are at the one area. The room is dark as light is not enough. The aircon is just at the head of the bed to make it is so cool when sleeping.

Towels are given at check in, carry your own towels to the rooms. No make up rooms even if you pressed the "Make Up Room" button. Water pressure is weak in the toliets. Convenient location and friendly staff.

Broken sleep
Hotel too noisy at night next to a main road. Young lady Malay receptionist very helpful during our stay helped us find a travel agent to book a couple of private tours as there are no organised trips from this town.all other staff very friendly.

Staying in Non smoking room(with smoke free signboard in the room) but the room filled with cigarette smell, complaint to the staff but they said nothing they can do. Requested to change to another room but still another smelly room with cigarette smell. Clearly the hotel management didn't bother or take any action about smoking in the Non smoking room.

Convenient hotel
The location of the hotel is excellent. You are surrounded by all the famous eateries. The staff of the hotel are a bit cold and room is a bit on the small size, maybe this can be reflected by the price we paid.

A good and centralised no frills hotel
Location is excellent with good food everywhere within walking distance. UTC is also nearby, Hotel staff were helpful and attentive.

It invites you to think about its bygone days
I stayed here for 2 nights last week. I want to say Le Metrotel is the type of place where they offered "old fashioned service". The older gentleman manning the front desk during the day (who I guess is the hotel manager?) is your typical friendly 'uncle' type. He'll accommodate with any requests that you have. The same hold trues for the service ladies - who are also your typical older 'aunties' type. Unfortunately, the hotel itself - outside of the lobby which is deceivingly refreshed - has seen its best days already. The bathroom is particularly old, and the towels even older. The lack of free toiletries was surprisingly, given that it's usually a standard freebie in Asia. I stayed in a standard room and the room itself was comfortable, if unspectacular. As others have mentioned, the night market is right next to the hotel. If you're in Ipoh for an overnight stay, without a car, and you're looking for a budget stay for the night market, this hotel may be for you. Otherwise, you may want to try exploring your options.

スタッフの態度
外出から戻ると掃除がされてなく、依頼するが2時間たっても来ないので再度依頼。1時間後まだ来ないので再度連絡すると、掃除係はやったと言っていたから…と信じられない回答。されてないから依頼したんだけど。しまいには今日ずっと部屋にいたんじゃないの？と客のせいにする。結果掃除は18時過ぎになるとの回答。遅いわ！シャワーに仕切が無いのでトイレはビチャビチャ。シャンプーはカラ。ドライヤーは20秒使うと勝手に切れる。乾かない…他のホテルへどうぞ。

Fint ophold til få dage
Super fint hotel i en god beliggenhed - i kineserkvarteret i den gamle by. Vi havde fire overnatninger i alt. Det eneste vi var lidt kede af, var at der ikke var et køleskab på værelset til at holde drikkevarer kolde. Medarbejderne var super flinke og okay til engelsk.

Good location hotel, but not enough car parking!
We choice this hotel, because of the nice location, close to the famous food shop, but unhappy is not enough car park parking for us, their car park may give to public, so when we back to car park, no more parking for us, need to tell the hotel staff and want to move the car later, very disappointed!

1) Hotel is clean & all the staff are good & responsive. However, the hotel towels are quite old.... 2) Location is superb & very convenient. One downside is the hotel parking lots at the back during weekend is not so pleasant as non-hotel guests were also allowed to park there !!

素泊まりなら十分満足
1泊だけでしたが、泊まるだけなら十分でした。部屋は新しく清潔で、シャワーはレインフォール式で湯量も問題なく、WiFiもサクサクつながりましたし、スタッフも親切でした。ロケーションも、塩チキンの持ち帰りのお店がお向かい、一本となりの路地にイポーチキンの有名店や豆腐花のおいしいお店などがあり、非常に便利でした。朝食はありませんが、市内の飲茶を堪能することができました。アマンジャヤ・バスターミナルまでのタクシーは、「路上で拾ったら30RMだけど、ホテルのカウンターで予約したら25RMだから」とスタッフがいうので、お願いしました。 市内近郊バスのメダンキッド・バスターミナルまでは歩いて20分ほどかかるかと思います。同じくイポー駅からも徒歩15分ぐらいかと思います。

The room is very comfortable and clean, with a window overlooking the street. It's centrally located and within walking distance to many famous food stalls in Ipoh.

Great location but very small room and noisy.
The only reason to stay in this hotel is its location. All the famous dishes around Ipoh are in walking distance. The hotel also provided an open air private parking place, so you don't have to worry about finding a place to park your car. Room is very small that even with 2 person in the room you feel crowded, and for the same price I believe you can get a bigger room somewhere else.no refrigerator in room, only a liquid soap is provided in the toilet, and it was for both body shower and hair shampoo. The shower curtain is dirty. I can hear the noise of the traffic from my room (at 2nd floor). No carpet in the corridor and poor sound-proofing as you can hear peoples walk and talk outside your room.

close to local famous restaurants
The location is perfect and there are a lot of local famous restaurants nearby such as Funny Mountain tau foo fa, Onn Kee and Lou Wong Bean Sprout chicken rice. Parking was provided for free (they had an open space carpark).

Although the room is small, the amenities are well equiped. Maintiance still can be done better! The hotel location is very convenient and lots of eatery, biscuit shops nearby, good for meals and shopping.
