The hotel was spot on. Clean quiet very pleasant staff. No food served as the restaurant is under going work. Which was stated when we booked. It is close enough to the town to get food or pubs for a good drink. Will definitely be back again in the future.

Our stay was quite nice. The room was a good size and had a fridge which was helpful. I was worried about water issues from other reviews but I had nothing but the nicest hottest showers with excellent water pressure. We enjoyed the history behind the building and all its quirks and charm.

Good stay for the money

The hotel overall is pretty good. Our room was very spacious and had a fridge. The bathroom was big. Shower worked fine. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast or evening meals anymore but that didnt bother us. We would stay again as the location was lovely and we could easily walk into town in ten minutes.

Lovely stay, but the bathroom woodwork was dusty. Wouldn't have taken much do clean. Young man at the bar/reception was great. Had to wait 30 mins after check in opened as room wasn't ready, but otherwise pleasant stay and would return.
