"Bathroom had crumbs in the floor and toothpaste on the shower wall, big orange stain on the carpet. Booked a one bedroom suite which was super small. Basically the size of a regular hotel room somewhere else but split in half to make it “a suite” which just made it even more cramped. Would be better to just have a large sitting area minus the wall of the bedroom. Fridge was randomly on the floor in the sitting room. Bar is located outside so annoying to have to go out there vs lobby to get a drink. Snack shop closed early which is also annoying because you can’t get anything to snack on or drink later at night. "

"The service at breakfast was terrible. Ordered Eggs Benedict, after 20 minutes I asked, they said in 5 minutes because the sauce was being made. 10 minutes later the waiter comes with the eggs without the sauce, asked if we wanted to order something else, we were in such a hurry that had to eat the very mediocre buffet paying $30. The room had the shampoo and soap dispenser empty, called reception, they sent some but never refilled. Next day, stepped out of the elevator on our floor and the bathroom smell was unbearable. The whole floor stunk. We had to leave the room until they cleaned up whatever was still mi g up the floor. The room is very small with no full mirror. I wouldn’t go back or recommend the place. "

"The hotel was very nice. My wife and I both enjoyed it. What made this visit very special was Miguel, the front desk manager when I arrived. He was both professional and warm, and was able to accommodate some needs that I had. When I return to Aventura on another trip, I will stay at the Serena and it will bevery largely due to my "loyalty" to Miguel "
