We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. "Check in was super easy and fast! The young woman at the desk Fri afternoon was friendly and efficient. Laughed at my joke! She was also very helpful later in the visit when we needed towels.
Breakfast was alright. Room was nice. The Pool chilly and spa nice and warm. Was a great place to enjoy a concert and wine tasting weekend from!"
"First time staying in the mountains in a cottage! Did not dissapoint! The ease of check in all by text! very friendly and helpful! Cottage was great! Everything you need (kitchenette, utensils, dishes) charcoal grill in front no stove. Make sure to bring beverages and food to grill! Pool and recreation area was very nice! Clubhouse has games and tv! I will definitely be back!"
"In town for a concert at the winery and booked this place online. I arrived early around Noon, the front desk lady said my room wouldn't be ready until after 3 but checked me in and gave me a key to come back anytime after 3 and go directly to my room. I greatly appreciated this. So i went exploring the town for a few hours made it back at 3 and went directly to my room. Very spacious with a mini fridge and microwave."
