We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. "The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little dated, but they are very clean and big. I love the daily soft serve ice cream and the freshly made in house mini doughnuts. The price is reasonable. "
