"We had a wonderful stay, and as the name states, we were always with a smile. Such lovely owners, always ready to help. They even went out of their way to give us a lift with their own car. "We spent a wonderful week here in September 2025. From the moment we arrived to departure, the staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in a great position looking down over lake Garda. The facilities are perfect, the Spa and sauna are great and the massage treatment worked a treat.
Free parking and free shuttle down to the town of Salo.
The extensive breakfast was the perfect start to the day, whether that is chilling in the hotel or taking a trip around lake Garda.
Highly recommended and would definitely go back again…"
"Everything was lovely, except for our 5 hour boat ride we arranged with the hotel. The boat was having engine issues and was very slow. Because of this we visited no villages and stopped only at a village for lunch. Very disappointed. "

we only ate at the restaurant once for lunch and didn’t have a great experience but i know it has high reviews for pizzas in the evenings.

"Very spacious, clean and comfortable room with a great view. Just a short walk to restaurants, pier, shops and pedestrian area. We were worried about street noise at night but the thick glass door kept it quiet inside. The room was a little warm at night with the balcony door closed but there was no screen door and we had issues with mosquitoes when we tried to keep the door open. Parking was free and convenient right outside the hotel door. There were lots of good restaurants, a nice walk on the water and lots of gelato. We were only there for one night and wished we could have stayed longer."
