"Beautiful hotel nice staff "

"This is rated as a four star hotel but does not feel four star at all. Location is great for Dalt Vila and the marina. The rooms are large and exceptionally clean, however a double room is 2 singles beds made up as single beds then pushed together. The beds are incredibly hard which made sleeping on them very uncomfortable, with one long pillow and one square cushion sized pillow. There are no temperature controls within the room, so it was either exceptionally hot during the night or extremely cold, I would dread to think how hot it will be in the middle of summer! The description on Expedia states that dressing gowns are provided in the rooms, this was not the case. The description also states luxury toiletries are provided in the bathroom, this was a handwash and shower gel. Amenities at the hotel state there was a roof top bar, this was not the case. The pool on the roof top was drained and had no water in it. Check in was quick, however we were not told anything about the hotel such as where the pool, games room, gym or spa could be located or that the pool was closed until Easter (this information was on the hotel’s website), we arrived on Easter Monday, the pool was still closed on Thursday. The hotel offers an airport transfer, Expedia states you need to contact the hotel 72 hours prior to arriving about this, they did not respond to any messages until the day of departure with taxi firms numbers and that the transfer was 80 euros for 3, there was 2 of us"

"Couldn't have asked for a better stay. The hotel is impeccably clean, both the common area and rooms. The staff at the front desk are lovely and helpful, and the staff in the restaurant worked so hard to keep the dining room clean, to refresh food items at the buffet, and to clear plates at the tables. Their efforts honestly made it feel like a much more expensive hotel! The breakfast is great - a fantastic variety of hot and cold options. I personally appreciated that they had several types of non-dairy milk available (often you have to ask specially). Something they could do to improve would be to add labels to identify the foods on offer and, ideally, to identify allergens. The location of the hotel is really nice - fabulous view of the sea, and right on the promenade with access to several restaurants and bars. It's a short walk into the city, but Ubers are plentiful and quick if you need it."

"Noisy beep from the elevator can be heard in the room. And unfortunately doors don’t keep noise out. Bed super comfy. Staff wonderful. "
