"Clean rooms beautiful beach nice location"

"The grounds and building are excellent. Very clean and modern. Rooms are comfortable and have great amenities. Beds, linens and sheets/towels are nice as well. Beware, the standard rooms have NO view or deck area. They literally back onto a fairly busy walkway, which is your view. To upgrade, the cost is quite high. For the next level upgrade (Junior Suite) we paid $1400CAN for 6 nights. Food was decent, the buffet was repetitive after 10 days. Some of the dishes that should have been warm or hot were not. The menu items were prepared fresh and definitely were better. Same with the breakfast....buffet was decent, menu items were much better. Drinks were all over the place. They had Dos XX on tap and many types of low grade hard alcohol. Mixed drinks were a crap shoot, unless you ordered something very simple. They had no drink menu, but I think that would be helpful so that the bartenders could all be trained to make drinks the same way. Staff was similar to most places. Some good, some ok, some indifferent. We had a couple of experiences where we sat first, but were served/waited on after local couples were sat after us. This happened more than once. We also had to help ourselves to menus a few times while staff were talking amongst themselves and/or on their phones. Cleaning staff were excellent however! All in all, a solid 3.5. For the original price we paid, plus the upgrade, the value just wasn't there. For our all in price, better choices exist."

"This is a really nice smaller resort. Two pools. Landscaping is lovely. Location couldn’t be better. There are 7 restaurants there but a special call out to the lunch bar on the 2bd floor. The food was exceptional! Town is really close. A cab ride away for 50 pesos. A terrific town with a pretty town square and lots of bars, restaurants and shopping. Heads up! It’s very hot and humid. Bring your hat and sunscreen. Overall, I Highly recommend the resort. It would be nice to have a small refrigerator in the rooms for cold drinks and light snacks. There is a Chedraui store within walking distance to buy a styrofoam cooler and the hotel has generous with ice. But it’s not the same. We were in the newer wing and there wasn’t a place in the shower to put your personal care products."

"My room was perfect in every sense. The air conditioning kept it fresh. The king size bed was super comfortable and the pillows too. Honestly my stay here was completely worth it! "

"It was an okay place to stay for a few nights. Most people working here are really nice and helpful. Beds were quite hard and the bedding is not especially comfortable. We moved rooms because they were doing renovations including the roof and pool and it was loud. I would recommend a garden view because it is pretty, and more quiet than the pool and road facing rooms. Food was fine if you’re not picky. They play old music videos for entertainment at the one restaurant, but there is some live music in the lobby later on. Great location if you want to explore, with easy access to the marina, and there is a nearby path to walk and check out the town. The beach at the club is a quick walk if you don’t want to wait for the shuttle. The beach is not very swimmable and the pool is busy and not very relaxing. Overall we found it good value due to the location and people."

"Elevator was not working the entire stay... we were informed of this prior to our arrival. According to others this is an ongoing problem. Nabani T1 also had their elevators not operating. Rooftop pool [ 6th floor ] not very handy with no elevators. First day on site we found what we were told was lizard excrement in the pool, took maintenance two days to drain/fill... and we were not updated that the pool was ok to use for another two days as our contact was on a day off and not one followed up. Upon arrival we messaged our contact that there was a damaged blind in the living room, and a vanity faucet that was very loose... promised that maintenance would be by at 10am the next day... no one showed up the entire week. Both bathroom showers leak.. one is 'fixed' with duct tape along the glass wall.. the other just pours into the bathroom floor. Kitchen is poorly equipped.. no serving bowls, minimal kitchen tools, no ice cube trays, paring knife, etc. No basic cooking items apart from salt/pepper. Anyone planning on cooking will need to bring everything else. Overall... the building is nice, location is ok with a short walk to town. Back bedroom has no windows, front bedroom is quite loud with dogs barking non stop most nights. overall, lots of potential to make the place nice... but as it is right now it isn't a great value for the price paid.
