"Importantly the floor - beautiful white floor tiles 2ftX2ft were everywhere and gave a very impressive upscale appearance. The furniture was moderate, and the staff were friendly and courteous. They could improve the TV by adding two more Sri Lankan channels, there were too many channels with foreign languages no local guests understands. "I recently visited Colombo for 5 days in October 2025 and stayed at 50 by the Sea - Had an excellent stay there and all my expectations were met - at times went above the expectations also. The apartment looks very new, is very well maintained and most importantly, its extremely clean. Ive visited Colombo many times and many times, I faced the issue of not so clean bathrooms at some residences - at 50 by the Sea, the bathrooms were so clean and neat that it looked like a 5 star hotel's...
