"Lovely stay at Kingscroft hotel, very peaceful location, check in was quick greeted by Wol on arrival ( such a lovely host) & taken to our room which was clean, big & exceptionally clean. Lots of extras including plenty of towels, toiletries, hairdryer, tea/coffee & biscuits. Bed was very comfy & bathroom was modern with great shower.
10 minutes to walk to centre of Buxton
Breakfast , we aren’t vegetarian but my goodness we didn’t miss the usual bacon/ sausages! It was large excellently...

"I had a super dooper experience with them, i am sure i will be their repeated guest all the time, unexpectedly fantastic and the money they charge is like you live for free when it comes to ambiance and the overall esthetic of the property, loved the room and peacefullness❤️"

"I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was very dirty and clearly not properly cleaned. There were noticeable yellow stains on the wall next to the toilet in the bathroom, which was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the bedding was unhygienic and didn't feel clean at all. I definitely would not recommend staying here."

"Quite good Experience "

"The room was spacious and reasonably clean. Quite basic but serviceable. What was not good was the bathroom: we understand that a shared bathroom depends a lot on the other guests, but the grime on the toilet and in the bath tub was days old. We chose not to shower here this morning because we didn’t feel at ease."
