The free bike rental option they offer is great to get downtown without the use of taxis and/or walking and will appease any thoughts you might have about the hotel being set so far away. "There is no interest places nearby. The only good things are this apartment is close to train station and the room is very big and cheaper than other hotels in Amsterdam.
If you plan to visit museums, red light district and spend most of the time in city center, I would recommend to choose hotels in Amsterdam Central.
