Good position near Waikiki Beach. I noticed dirt at the bottom of headboard which did not fit the bed. It was good they had a working fridge but it did not fit where it was meant to go. But the room was fairly large.

The bathroom was nice, the room was noisy due to street traffic. Ear plugs and sleep medication is highly recommended.

The hotel in absolutely nasty inside. Mold all over the room and bathroom, dirty carpet, you can draw on the dust of the surfaces. The smell in a lobby and the room are awful. The place needs to be bulldozed. We ran to the hotel across the street because neither me or my husband were going to even consider staying there. Had to call Expedia to get the refund, took an hour of just trying to get someone on the line. I offered the Expedia employee the photos I took prior to leaving the nasty hotel. Unfortunately, the representative said it was unnecessary. I wish I could submit them here so everyone can view how bad it is

Would not recommend this property. Very stingy with amenities. No housekeeping unless you specifically ask. Certainly not how the photos online make it look. Worn, run down, sticky floors, filthy staircases!

The place was very old and dirty. One of the air conditioners didn’t work. It’s a 1/4 mile walk to the car garage at $35 per night. They checked me in an hour late. That might be the fault of other stayer none the less I paid for check in to check out and was not discounted. I would suggest pay for a nicer place.

Room service was limited unless specifically requested. We found it very hard to sleep with the very loud road outside all hours of the night and there was no way to make the windows any quieter. People were turning our TV on in the middle of the night somehow and there are large vents between the hallway and rooms making for less privacy. We were woken up by hotel staff and an exterminator at our door the first night asking if we needed the room sprayed.. (we never saw any bugs though). Even though everything was pretty well loved it was at least as clean as it could be. The staff was friendly and the place is extremely walkable to the Waikiki area. If you just need a place to lay your head and not spend a lot, I'd recommend it but I definitely felt like we were scraping the bottom of the barrel for the area.

施設が古い、タオルも古い、バスタブはあるものの栓がないのでつかることはできない等の不十分さは価格を考えればこんなものだと思います。何より立地がよいので、帳消しにしてくれる要因だと思います。 しかしながら、宿泊した部屋がクヒオ通り沿いで。信号の停止場所ということもあってか、自動車、バイクの騒音がけたたましく、眠ることができませんでした。これは私のとっては最悪で、二度目はないかなと感じております。

The hotel is old,rooms are outdated ,poor cooling ,lot of noise ! The staff was nice ,we had clean bed sheets and towels but overall I will not comeback ever to this hotel. Maybe other floors where better but in 5 floor everything was failing apart !

Overall the property was okay. Some rooms are better than others, and the pictures online don't reflect the room they give you, I believe it depends on the price you paid. I rebooked the same "level" of room at 3 different prices over the course of 6 months, and ended up getting a lower price for the "same" room.... however, we ended up with possibly the oldest and noisiest room in the property. Location was great and staff and pool area, lobby, etc was all above average. Might stay again depending on which room we book/pay for.

The royal grove is an older hotel, maybe that's why I liked it. It's hardly a hop and a skip from the beach. In the pool area I saw all sorts of water toys and even a surfboard rack,(for the surf,not for the pool dummy) The property was clean, very clean. I liked the kitchenette, mostly for the ice in my gin tonic though there is an ice machine near the pool. The staff, you want your business to succeed then have a staff like the royal grove. I spoke to the front desk every day I dropped off my key, I teased housekeeping in the elevator and felt welcome by everyone.

Very old and tv did not work. Hard to find outlet in the room to plug out electronics. No place to park, had to pay $30 for parking down the road and walk back to hotel.

this was the "worst" stay we have ever experienced. we called days in advance to ensure someone would meet us because we were arriving later in the evening. we arrived and our room was not as described. we were told we needed to address the issue with the manager the next day. we spoke with the manager, Rayne, and she informed us that our room was provided to another guest by mistake. she was unable to accommodate in manner to meet our needs, she offered two separate rooms but, this was unacceptable, as we were traveling with our grandchildren. the room we stayed for the night (521), was in need of total renovation. the curtains were stained, air conditioner loud, tears in the carpet, shower stall tile cracked/broken, rusty door hinges/towel racks, ceiling cracked and peeling, no outlet in bathroom, headboard not attached to bed frame, and bathroom flooring not properly installed. this facility is in need of major renovation as current conditions "are not" as depicted on their website. this was "NOT ALOHA" after a 6-hour flight, and we were totally disappointed and had to relocate to another hotel.

First off the customer service is horrible. The room service is inadequate and only had my room cleaned 1 time in 3 days. My roof had roaches and no headboards on the beds. I’m highly disappointed in this hotel and Expedia for having this hotel listed. I have pictures of the property also. I honestly feel like I should be refunded for this terrible hotel.

Less power outlets to charge phones or electronics devices. They should put more power strips if they can’t upgrade electrical outlets Visitors will be happy with it.

My first time in Hawaii. My hotel was the #20 bus from the airport. One hour ride for $1.25. The staff was pretty and friendly. Highly recommend!

Stayed there for a night, it had a nice, homely feel to it. Everything I needed, nothing I didn't; i.e. fridge, stove, microwave, table, safety box, cable tv, wifi, bed, and bathroom amenities. If your not looking for fancy and traveling on a budget, it's worth checking out. Loved that it was walking distance to Waikiki beach and had a poki shop and mini Mart on the same building. The Korean BBQ stand right across had some good galbi too. All in all I was happy with the location and price I paid for it. Fair warning the decore is a bit dated and some of the fixtures are starting to peel but it's better than some of the places it's not run down by any means, it adds a certain charm/character to it in my opinion, I enjoyed my stay, would definitely rebook.

It got the job done. A place to sleep and rest. Other reviews mentioned being able to use boogie boards. Staff would not allow check-out of these items. So don’t count on that.
