"Hilary and Oliver are so hospitable and warm and everything you can want in B&B hosts. They are so accommodating in every way. "What a lovely guesthouse! It is spotlessly clean and quiet, and Patricia is a welcoming and gracious host. She prepares wonderful breakfasts each day. I highly recommend Mountain View if you want a Galway-area stay, a bit outside the city."

"Great location in Cong. Close to everything. Parking wasn't a problem. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. The only advice is that they don't have an elevator/lift. If you're on the second floor, you will have to haul your luggage up a narrow flight of stairs. Also, like most places in Ireland, no wash clothes. "

"Nice clean rooms. Comfy beds. The toilets are communal but there’s lots of them so we never waited for them. It actually speeded us all up getting ready as we had a toilet each in the morning. Free supplies for breakfast and a fully functioning kitchen. Big car park too. The only negative was the check in process. You collect keys from the bar and there was a party on so we had to wait half an hour for someone to come with the keys "

"Great place to stay in Westport! The room was a great size considering it only slept two people. The bathroom seemed recently updated and was very nice (especially the shower). The location was great for exploring the town and being close to pubs, restaurants, and activities. They had a nice living room type area downstairs to sit, but no additional amenities."

"I liked the staff. They were helpful. However, one of the reasons I booked this hotel was for the spa. Unfortunately, I didn’t arrive to the hotel and get checked in until about 7:15 or 7:30. I immediately went to the spa for a soak and sauna but discovered it closed at 8:00. I couldn’t use the pool as I didn't have a bathing cap. I could use the hot tub but half the jets didn’t work.
