"My meal on Sunday evening was the best I’ve ever had, and the service by Rula wonderful and friendly.. room was delightful and breakfast delicious hot and perfectly served. Excellent choice the only problem was when paying generally with Hotels.com I pay before I leave home and can use my Keycash points but as Mellor took funds on leaving the deputy manager didn’t know how to use my credit which would have covered my meal. She tried to phone but apparently couldn’t get through. I will be taking...

"We had an accessible room for myself and the wife and an adjoining bedroom for the father-in-law while we had a few days visiting family the rooms as always were clean and well presented tea and coffee facilities beds were lovely and comfy the only down side is the accessible rooms only come with double beds would of been better if twin beds as the wife has issues and disturbs me while sleeping so don’t get a refreshing sleep "
"We arrived early and asked if we could possibly check in and fortunately we could. Nothing was too much trouble and all of the staff were very helpful. Our family joined us for breakfast the following morning and again all was good. I would definitely recommend a visit."

"A steady clean hotel away from the hustle of the city centre. The staff were super friendly, special mention to Kiran on the check in desk.
The room was tight for space but as it was only a one night stay that was perfectly acceptable. The bed was really comfy. The only thing I would knock it for would be there was a lot of dust around the TV area.
The gym area looked neat and tidy, I didn’t use them as I’d used a gym in the city prior to arrival. The restaurant area had a nice feel to it even...
"A return visit to this hotel, this time in a bigger room. Impressed with it the 1st time, hence the return visit and will no doubt be returning again in the future. Easy access to the building and room with codes supplied via email. The room was lovely and clean and the windows were open when we got there, which was a great help as it was a warm day, I would like to see a better cooling fan provided in the room though. All-in-all another great night in Preston at Winckley Square, thank you."
