"Very easy checkin and out, helpful bag storage, great breakfast, spotlessly clean theoughout. Very convenient accommodation for parents visiting children at the universities. Good public transport links close by. Have stayed several times over the last few years and look forward to returning. "

"Overall a very pleasant stay, it was a very hot day so the room was hot but it did have portable fan. Welcome and service by the staff was excellent.
The main entrance door has a strong spring on it so very noisy when people allowed it to slam shut.

"AMAZING location in a historic inn, cute views from my 4th-floor room (naturally no elevator, so keep that in mind). The food and drinks were top-notch, and it's only a short walk to York Minster and the art gallery, Yorkshire Museum, Museum Gardens, etc. I will definitely stay here again! "
