"Room was average for the price paid but overall looked tired. Very old pub and traditional rooms but that’s no reason to ignore mould and damage to the bathroom and paint flaking off the walls. Light fitting was hanging off by exposed wires. In the evenings the pub downstairs is busy with a lot of noise heard upstairs until about midnight. "

"Excellent staff, food was amazing however food served on 3 very badly chipped plates, thick cobwebs in bathroom and someone else’s clothes left in the room from the previous night. Lovely hotel and have stayed several times but needs some attention to detail "
