"I used to love this place, but unfortunately not anymore. I stayed here with my boyfriend on 3/20 for his birthday. We were planning to use the hotel pool, but it was closed, which was really disappointing. I booked through Hotels.com, and my receipt showed a total of $161.54, but I was charged $180 instead. When I asked the front desk, the staff member said she didn’t know how to fix it and told me to call her manager. I didn’t feel like it was my responsibility to spend extra time trying to resolve their billing issue. On the second night, our key cards stopped working, so my boyfriend had to go all the way back to the lobby to get new ones, which was inconvenient. Breakfast was just okay—nothing special. Overall, this experience didn’t meet my expectations, especially compared to how much I used to like this place. "

While the location was convenient and the room itself was comfortable, the experience was soured by the lack of transparency regarding the pet policy. When I booked, the additional pet fee was not clearly disclosed. I was extremely annoyed to be informed that there was a flat pet cleaning fee for bringing a well-behaved animal into the room. If a hotel charges a premium for pets, there should be clear communication about that cost upfront, or they should at least provide amenities to justify the extra cleaning fee they claim to be charging."
