"Given we were told we would not have a view for a standard queen, our balcony overlooked the lake (through a few trees) so were pleasantly surprised. Heating in room on constantly (although thermostat off on wall) and unable to contact reception late at night when it was too hot to sleep. Opened the door (no window to open) but not great security-wise. However, thoroughly enjoyed our stay with great evening meal and breakfast. Price for food in lounge reasonable - but that’s compared to UK prices!"

"The cabin was nice and comfortable. Couldn’t get the wood fireplace going. The handle for the vent seemed to be broken. One warning: due to the closeness to the railway track, you’ll hear the train throughout the night. And the train blows its horn every time, day and night."
