"There isn’t an elevator. We stayed at the Shannon Suite (top floor) which was 81 steps. All luggage had to be carried. I would not recommend for elderly."

"The hotel is within walking distance of much of downtown Dublin. Trinity College is a few blocks away, as is the Temple Bar district. Guiness and The Liberties are less than a mile away. The hotel is unique (look for the portraits). Do get the breakfast, it's excellent and will fuel you for a day of walking and sightseeing. The hotel and rooms are very clean (although the rooms, like many in Europe, are fairly tight) and the staff was most helpful. Would book again next time we're in Dublin."

"Amazing hotel and great location! Everyone was super friendly and we enjoyed the night caps at the bar…the bartender was GREAT! The only thing I wish they offered was coffee service in the lobby. You had to pay for breakfast in the restaurant to get coffee."
