No one at premisis to check in with left standing outside for nearly 2 hours hoping someone would turn up. Place was in complete darkness . Local told me they were closed Monday's. Couldnt go to gig had to go home paid 30 pounds for ticket for gig and paid for taxis to the hotel totally 42 pounds. Not happy
Had a really lovely 2 night stay at the Cherry Tree. Our room was cosy, very well appointed and comfortable. The included breakfast was lovely, good choices and great coffee. The staff were lovely.
We spent 3 nights at the Cherry Tree and found it a lovely place to stay. Nice and quiet with that lovely old country pub charm and atmosphere. The food was great and Louise and her staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for us. Highly recommend.
Could be a cute property with attention to detail . I looked forward to staying there for several months . Unfortunately the day I arrived they had a musician in the bar. Great. It I was told by staff to leave , all tables were reserved . So I asked can I have dinner. They say me in dining room ,20 min later no waiter . So I went to bed hungry
Room was dirty ,cob webs , woke up with spider in bed with me , and one in bathroom.
I happen to manage hotels. This one would get a flunking grade .
Staff did not care that I was there , no welcome , no good morning , no how was your stay please come back. I will never stay there again. To bad. Could be great
Quintessential Country Inn located in a very quiet village on the outskirts of Henley on Thames. Very comfortable, good sized room ideal for us and our 2 dogs. Large outdoor garden area and several dining rooms and bar area. We reserved a table for an evening meal. Dog friendly (owner has a Basset Hound) No pet fee and breakfast included. All in all very good value for money. A lick of paint here and there would add to the room but no complaints. We would stay again.
