Very friendly, relaxed and convenient atmosphere, feels rather hip than budget. Generously size parking garage with infinite charging spots. Huge breakfast buffet. Metro station close by.

Will stay again

This was the third time we stayed at the hotel. Friendly and very good service. The room is functional, clean and in good condition. We will stay again next time in Helsinki.

We went to Finland for a Taekwondo competition. We needed a place to stay, not too expensive. We found this Hotel and over all it was a nice hotel. Breakfast was OK for the price, and service was good. The bedroom was good as well. Comfortable beds and pleanty of space.

Heymo 1 is very close to a Metro and tram stop, so easily accessible from the airport or the centre of Helsinki. Its facilities are modern throughout and both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious (the shower was particularly good). Breakfast is €10.45 and is well worthwhile as it is a buffet and also considering the cost of eating out in Helsinki. Overall I would stay at Heymo 1 again and would recommend it to everyone.

Hidden gem off the beaten path ..

This was a very new hotel located a few metro/subway stops from downtown Helsinki (and a 5 min walk from the nearest subway station). Its located in an area that is primarily businesses and the nearby Aalto University facilities, so a pretty quiet location. Since it was new, all facilities where in mint condition. Staff was very friendly.

This was the third time we stayed at the hotel. Friendly and fast check-in. It was a nice surprise to see a welcome-back card with chocolate in the room. The room is small but well designed that there are plenty of places to keep the little stuff, that we appreciate very much. It was clean and the bed sheets were nicely white. Big TV and contemporary bathroom are also good. The kitchen area next to the lobby provides coffee, tea and drinking water which we also appreciate very much. We will stay again next time.

I did not enjoy staying at this hotel much. Dont like a computer for a reception, even if a friendly staff member helped. No desk in the room. Or coffee maker. Free coffee in reception but milk and breakfast items behind locked glass fridge doors. Room clean and beds comfortable although feels like a hospital. Expensive and breakfast not included. I wont be staying here again if i can help it.

First and foremost: the staff. I had the pleasure to discuss with Abdi, Sini, Eeli and George. Awesome people they are! We had the opportunity to use two different rooms: a regular two-twin-beds room and the Lucky You suite. The regular room had everything to satisfy us, even though it is a little small by North American standards. However, the decor and the furniture made it comfortable and lively. Also, the space is well used and the furniture is efficient. What can I say about the Lucky You suite? Well it’s like living in an Elinoora dream. Very surprising and cozy, because it doesn’t feel like a hotel room at all. Private sauna anyone? The rooms also had the luxurious Finnish soap and shampoo brand that is all the rage here: Lumene. Our Expedia deal included the breakfast buffet. What a great way to start your day! There is every Finnish breakfast food you can dream of, including white sliced bread and a toaster for the North Americans among us. And don’t forget that Finland is a lactose-free dreamland. The buffet food is super well presented and the eating area is quite large, well decorated and very clean. There is also a fancy coffee machine and a tea bar in the lobby that are free to use and accessible 24/7. Enough said: I will gladly return to this place every time I visit Espoo.
