"There was a swarm of bugs in front of our room that were unavoidable to get through the door. The lock inside looked like it had been ripped off the door frame a few times. The paint job in the room was rushed and incomplete. It looked like there was a cockroach leg stuck to the wall in the shower. The employee who checked us in wasn't wearing shoes and had a general vibe of uncleanliness. The television wasn't set up in our room. The overall vibe of the hotel was so bad that we checked out a day early and got a room at a different hotel."

"The resort is very nice and cozy and we had a great time! I will definitely go back and stay there and would recommend it to anyone. The staff was AWESOME!!! This place really beats staying in hotel and the price is reasonable. My granddaughter loved the playground! Tina and Dennis thank you again for all your help!!!"

"Apparently the property was in the process of being changed over from a Super 8 to a Quality Inn. So there was a lot of construction and updating going on at the time. The breakfast was minimal but fine. The secure wifi was out for our entire visit and the public wifi was out for at least half of the time. While the hotels.com listing said the parking was free, we were charged $3/night fee on arrival. We asked about that on check out and a different employee refunded the fee. However, the employee who had originally charged us saw and was very disgruntled, saying she was told that should never be done, no matter what the website said. The room itself seemed reasonably clean. However we did get some strange bug bites while there (maybe spiders) and we found trash from previous occupants in drawers."

"I was told there was not a room downstairs I’ll be and I am handicap. There seem to be ample parking. The bathtub I found hair from a previous resident. There was no bathmat in the bathtub very slippery. If you’re handicap, this is not the Hotel for you. The continental breakfast was pedestrian at best."

"The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location in Helen. It’s overpriced by real world standards. And isn’t even in a walkable location. The views in the room pictures are AI. We had a view of the parking lot. "
