"Great hotel, couldn’t fault it"

"The hotel is in a great location. Everything was withing 15minute walking distance. The optional (additional) breakfast was good. The layout is a bit confusing, and the stairs didn't help much. The bath tub was elevated so I wouldn't recommend this hotel to older people or anyone with knee problems. The showerhead was unadjustable. I had to shower closer to it all the time. What made my stay pleasant were the employees. The front desk reps were nice and friendly, housekeeping ladies were polite and the breakfast buffet attendants were fast, attentive and friendly. I was impressed on how they all liked working there."

"First time staying here, we were there for 2 nights. Reception staff were lovely, really friendly every time we spoke to them and even had a laugh on the phone. Proper nice vibe. Breakfast staff felt a bit abrupt though, like you were being rushed while eating which wasn’t great. The room itself was beautiful, at the top floor. That said, the stairs nearly finished me off and the blast of heat from the radiators… I almost joined the ghosts up there. Speaking of which, the place definitely has a bit of a spooky feel. The courtyard was stunning, really peaceful, and room service was great, super friendly again. Only weird thing was we had to prop the window open with a bottle. Overall, really nice stay with a few quirks… and yeah, a couple of spooky things did happen 👀 also I think the staff got sick of me asking about dessert of the day and being disappointed it was lemon tart!"

"Nice hotel overall. Although feel like the plumbing could do with a look at - quite a loud noise and through the night hearing it randomly. Room was kitted out well but could have done with a more thorough clean."
