"The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. "Fantastic location right on the Esplanade and there was plenty of for parking behind & in front of the hotel. You can see that there has been alot of work/money put into this property. "Pleasantly surprised, wouldn’t have thought to choose a YHA in the past but price for a private en-suite room was very reasonable. Cafe on site, well stocked kitchen for self-catering, free parking and short walk to the beach. Later check in than I’m used to (5pm) was the only downside. "
