"Property is beautiful and in a lovely setting. Strange set up where I received an email saying my booking was at risk as I’d given incorrect card details to secure the booking. Payment was due to be taken on arrival. Turns out the hotel needed payment up front and this is why we received the email. This seemed unprofessional and a little odd. "Lovely stop on the way to Cornwall. Gorgeously comfortable bed and linen. We arrived exhausted from a long transatlantic flight with 2 cats and the owner was so kind to us. She saved our bacon as we honestly could not have driven further! Superb breakfast and we will definitely return 💜"

"This is a lovely hotel. We didn't know what to expect and upon arrival, were delighted by the decor, cleanliness, and the professionalism of the manager who greeted us. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all of the basic amenities that we would expect. Breakfast was next level.
